References to "we", "us" and "our" mean INCOGNITO LTD. References to "you" mean the person or business engaging us for services or using this website.
2. What we do
INCOGNITO provides custom software development for businesses and professional clients, including web application development, business management tools, internal dashboards, workflow automation, API and system integrations, software maintenance and technical support.
3. Quotations, packages and scope
Work is provided either as one of our published fixed-price packages, or as a bespoke quotation following a discovery conversation. In both cases, the scope of work is confirmed in writing (by email or in a written specification) before development begins. Work outside that agreed scope is treated as a separate, additional piece of work and quoted accordingly before it starts.
Package descriptions on this website, including typical timescales, are indicative. Actual timescales depend on how quickly information, access and feedback are provided during the project.
4. Orders and payment
Prices shown on this website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise. Card payments are processed through our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction and handles card data directly — we do not receive or store your card details. If your payment page displays a currency other than GBP, that conversion, and any associated conversion fee, is applied by the payment provider, not by us.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, fixed-price packages are payable in full before work begins. For larger bespoke projects we may agree a staged payment schedule as part of the written quotation.
5. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel an order before work has started for a full refund. Once discovery or development work has begun, we will refund any fees for work not yet carried out, less a reasonable amount for the time and resources already committed. This does not affect any statutory cancellation rights you may have as a consumer, where those rights apply.
6. Intellectual property
On payment in full, ownership of the custom software, code and other deliverables created specifically for your project transfers to you, except for any pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks or reusable components of ours used in the build, which remain our property and are licensed to you for use as part of the delivered work.
7. Confidentiality
We treat information you share with us about your business as confidential, and we expect the same in relation to any non-public information we share with you during a project.
8. Liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the fees paid for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Data protection
Details of what personal data we collect and how it is used are set out in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force for a project is the one published on this website at the time you place an order or a quotation is agreed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@incognitions.co.uk or +44 28 9062 3946.
